memory

Does anyone have any good memory trick they want to share, I often think of something I want to do to one of my sites or come up with a great idea while away from home in the car and have a little mini tape recorder that I will talk into so I can remember when I get home what I wanted to do or what I thought of.

However many times while working on the computer I will think of something or decide to do something then the phone rings or someone comes to the door and by the time I get back to the computer the thought is lost and when this happens it never seems to come back. Anyone have any memory recall tips.

Also off the subject anyone else besides me have the log in screen to here vanish when you put in your user name then have to click on log in again to enter your password.

I'm finding I love Evernote for those quick tips, but I also have a pocket sized notebook for those times when I can't get at my phone for one reason or another. As for remembering things I didn't make a note of... Sometimes I remember and sometimes I don't :D

You could always put a pack of sticky notes beside your P.C. :)

Have a notepad with you kept either in your shirt pocket or on your computer desk. You would do well to make a note of your thought before getting up to invite the visitor to your home.

I use Evernote too. A handy Post-It next to my computer works too. I use a little black notebook where I keep all ideas that come to me. Sometimes you get this idea, so it's handy to have a little notebook with you.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

I always use virtual Post-its as well then I take small notes, save them into my phone and sometimes if they are that important, I also schedule an alarm so I am reminded :)

One of the things I like about Evernote is that I have it on both my computer and on my phone and it will sync between the two. Definitely makes "remembering" easy that way for all sorts of things. Plus, you can clip web pages, and a lot of other things as well. There are a number of apps (both free and paid) that work with Evernote to provide great functionality. Definitely a tool worth exploring!
