Just Started :D

Hey guys,

I currently do SEO/Online Marketing for a living.

For 2 web agencies as my primary job, i am still attending college at the moment though.

I've been watching a lot of things at the moment and have seen Affiliated marketing pop-up all over the shop.

I've invested a little money into start this now: $30 of buysellads

To market 2 products which i have chosen.

1) on Clickbank - SEO Link Monster

2) on Max Bounty (which i got accepted for yesterday and got a LOT of advice from my manager)
I'm promoting the PKR Poker offer as it seemed good.

Just wondering if anyone had some advice?
Or would kind of like to partner up with me or give me some lessons/help in return for my help.

I'm good at SEO/Social Marketing/PPC as that's what i'm paid for.
Though i have friends that do things like, Graphics, video editing, web development and programming for me and either for free or cheaply...

Welcome, Charlie! ;) We're thrilled to have you on board :) I'm sure your SEO expertise and knowledge will be helpful to a lot of members.

I checked SEO Link Monster's gravity (238.42) and commission rate ($26.24) and it looks like it's a good product to promote. Mark recommends that you choose products with gravity score of over 30 and a payout of at least $17 per sale.

All the best! :)

Yeh, it's ok... I bought some buy sell ads space like I said and have gotten around 18 clicks but no sales *yet* in 2 days, 1 sale would pretty much give me my money back (in my mind anyways, it gives me experience).

I'm also working on an eBook with my friend, I've been a reseller for a long time, just not affiliated marketing style... More on eBay and online forums :)

Thanks for the warm welcome,
Charlie

Yeh I've been reading a LOT of posts... I've recently launched 2 websites...

I get about 200+ Pageviews (Adsense) a day at the moment...

Which is around £10/month.

It costs me $0.50/Month for the domain & hosting so that's $1 in costs so far.

Would I be better off in making more websites & more content *FULL TIME* or working with others & growing my affiliate marketing skills?

I reckon within 3 months I can get those 2 sites to get well over 5,000 page views a day, so I'd be earning more but not huge amounts...

Affiliate marketing is hard when your new to it, but I know a lot of people that can help me & my own skills... It's just I'm not very "rich" and could use some free help or at least in return for my services... Anyone interested?

Hi Charlie,

Affiliate marketing needn't be so costly. In fact, you can do affiliate marketing without a website. Since you are just starting out, I suggest you focus on your two sites and get them to start earning you an income. Whatever income you get from these two sites in the coming months can be put into building other websites that earn you income as well.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
