Is Affilohost down?

Is all of affilloramas premium hosting down or is it only our sites.
as all i get for last 30 minutes is 503 service is unavailable. as there are no notices of service down in affilo premium hosting it says all ok hmmm

No, there shouldn't be a problem with websites under Premium hosting. I will forward your concern to our technical support so he can look further into the issue. In the meantime, let me know if you have further concerns.

one of sites has just come back to view in a browser but the other one hasn't and i am still getting
"503 service is unavailable on this site"

but in both Cpanels I still cannot access neither of the sites, file managers just continue to get

"There was a temporary problem accessing your FTP server, please try again later. If this problem persists, please contact support."

I have sent a ticket to support many hours ago, but of course have had no reply yet,

Hi Ian,

I am sorry for the inconveniences. We are currently experiencing problems with our Premium Hosting servers. Here is the latest update that I got from our server administrators as of Tue, 17 Jan 2017 13:00:25 +0000:

[email protected]:09 Website restorations are ongoing and we are seeing more sites come back on-line. Our Premium hosting services have also been restored and are now fully back on-line.

UPDATE:- (Posted at 21:20)

We are still seeing problems with some sites hosted on our Shared Platform and Premium Hosting Platform. This is caused because of a connectivity issue between our Web Servers, NAS Drives and Database servers. Our System Administrators are restoring connectivity but this is taking longer than anticipated as additional work is required (such as NAS data synchronisation). We are working on the restoration of sites and services with the highest priority and as work continues we are seeing more sites restored.

Please note that this will also be affecting FTP connectivity to some hosting packages.

We apologise for the time it is taking to fully restore all sites and services and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding.

Ok looks like we are back up and running.

While i understand that server systems can go down occasionally, May i respectfully suggest that if this happens in the future that you put a notice on the forum or somewhere prominent. so instead of us trying to send support tickets, checking a bunch of other things etc. We only need to check the notices and then we can get on with other things while you guys sort it out.
After all you did have more than 10 hours to post something.
