I'm new to affiliate marketing and I need help

Hello friends,

I'm Ortal and I'm new affiliate advertise.
if it's OK, i wild like to consult with you.

I little stack with my affiliate project. it's my first one.
I have a health blog that i created for this project.

my main goal is collect email address through the squeeze page - simpledietips.com/free-reports
I start the project 3 weeks ago. so far, no sale and only 5 newsletter subscribers. 35 users been here up to now and 5 newsletter subscribers.

list of traffic source that I tried up to now:

1. twitter account
active for 3 weeks. 642 followers. 61 visits and 3 subscribers.
some tweets link to article, some to the squeeze page and some are quotes. any improvement suggestions?

2. facebook page
203 visits and 1 subscriber. likes campaign for USA or UK is little expensive for me. it take $3 for a relevant like.
I try to get cheap like for $0.04 but the from countries that will not buy my affiliate products, so it's pointless.
I can not promote a engagement post, facebook do not approve because it violates their policies and promises false promises (that what they say)

the thing is that everybody recommends on facebook as ever green and cheap traffic source.
all my facebook campaign attempts not go so well.
any improvement suggestions?

3. YouTube channel - today the channel get suspended. I upload only one video about weight loss and youtube did not approve the video
because it violates their policies and promises false promises (that what they say) - jest like facebook.
today I tried to leave a few comments with my aff link in relevant weight loss videos and my channel get suspended.

I get a feeling that I'm doing something wrong with this project.
no matter how I tried (I work on this project a few hours each day), I still can not get enough traffic for users will sing up to the newsletter and buy products.

Maybe the diet and weight loss niche was a mistake - I can not promote on any traffic source.
please advice how I should proceed from here. what you think that I need to do?

I really want it to work and think that more experienced people will be able to help me.

Thank you,
Ortal

Hi Ortal,

You need to focus more on quality- quality link building and quality content. Use content to market your niche- that is from your images to your texts, you should offer something that is worth while for the readers.

Also, try to do varied marketing tactics, from SEO to PPC. The key is to experiment with different marketing methods to know which one works well for you.

Lastly, track your progress and traffic. This is important as it shows you what you should do next if you want to improve on traffic and sales.

It could also be that there is a disconnect between your visitors and your squeeze page.

What are you offering? Is it high value? Do people want it?

Having the answers to these Qs will help push down the costs.

You should be able to get leads, rather than likes for the money you mentioned above. In fact, you can get them much less if you have a good "bribe" in place.

Develop A List Of Prospects

Leading on from the point above, your website can be used to build a list of prospects. When you have a prospect’s email address, it gives you the opportunity to send them emails about other related products or services at some future date. Your website can have an email capture form on the homepage. Remember to offer something of value, like a report or eBook, in return their email address.

Learn How To Drive Traffic To Your Website

You want to push and pull as much traffic to your website as possible. If you don’t have traffic, you won’t have any customers. You can buy website traffic in the form of advertisements or you can generate free traffic by way of your website content being picked up by the search engines. The best strategy for successful affiliate marketing is to use a mixture of both free and paid traffic methods.

Provide Value

Affiliate marketing is not all about selling. That’s the job of the sales page that your affiliate links lead your audience to. Think of it as ‘telling’ rather than ‘selling’. As people become to trust you and the information you provide they will be more inclined to buy the products that you recommend.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Ortal,

Weight loss is a hard niche to promote in paid advertising sources since a lot of sites are weary about certain claims in that field.

Might I suggest another source for advertisement?
I personally have had great success with solo ads. Meaning you "rent" other people's lists by paying someone with an established list to place your offer in front of them. You can go on people's sites in your niche and contact them if they do solo ads.

Or you can try Udimi. A marketplace for solo ad vendors where users can post their ratings, so you have a better chance of success of finding a good vendor. Not sure if this is allowed, but here's the link https://udimi.com/a/6urcg

But yeah I wrote a little about solo ads in my blog post if you want to check it out as well for a little advice on how to maximize your ad spend. https://www.thedreamerschase.com/solo-ads/

Best of luck though!

As one of the guys said, the weight loss industry is fairly tough to break into. You have to do something completely different to stand out from the crowd.I have a forex blog that I'm running right now. I had to be very creative because of the competitive nature of the forex industry. Hope it helps.

Hello,

Have you dabbled with solo ads as yet? All of the traffic is 100% verified and legitimate. BOT Traffic can be a real pain in the neck. Your tracker may say you have driven 200 clicks when in reality only 50 real people saw your affiliate offer.

I personally got results straight out of the gate with Solo Ads from
Udimi: removed link

They provide reviews of the quality of traffic and you can ask the seller if your offer is suited to their audience.

An excellent place to get sales and grow an email list. Worth A Look!
