How to hide links in forum signature?

I was reading about how to hide links. Just wanted to know if theres a way to hide links in your forum signature, because i didnt see I could do anything with HTML on the forum.. Is there anyway to hide a link with bbcode?

@Inonkp, I presume you are wanting to put an affiliate link into your forum signature. There's really no reason to be hiding your links on this forum as this is a forum of affiliate marketers and people here recognize affiliate links even if the links are cloaked or "hidden"

If you include an affiliate link, in most cases its best to be upfront about it - most people don't mind that and will actually respect your honesty.

To create a link and "hide it" using anchor text, you can use the [url=http://www.example.com]anchor text and close it with another url tag.

I wasnt talking about this forum but another that I write on. What I was asking is if theres a way to cloak the link in the display in the left bottom corner of the browser. the problem is that apparently I cant use HTML on that site only bbcode.
hope that was clearer can anyone help?
