Also a quick heads up re the HAHD challenge for those with multiple author accounts, the 100 articles have to be under the same author.
It seems to be really popular - I wonder why it is the last one?

Hey Kakboo - it probably took you less than 82 freakin' articles to do it! :o)
1st article submitted - 99 to go!
82 articles later finally getting Platinum was a bit of a hollow victory.
Stupid thing is that sometimes I still have to wait a week for approval!
The things we do :o)
2 submitted - 98 to go!

As of today, I have submitted 89 articles to EzineArticles for the challenge.. can't believe I wrote 89 of them in 5 days... now I am sick and tired of writing articles!!!
Looks like a failed campaign to me.. dont think I will be completing that 11 articles I need to finish the challenge.. don't need the mug anyway.. figured my efforts would be better spent somewhere else. or maybe i should take some time to reset and learn bum marketing all over again...
Also... Just got this message from Ezine:
You have run out of article submissions.
Your account will be reviewed for an upgrade when all currently submitted articles are reviewed by our editorial staff.
I have 27 articles pending at the moment so I understand that may take a while. I'm guessing this is for platinum. Problem is, I hope it doesn't take too long because of HAHD.
Oh that is just crazy! There is no such thing as a failed campaign, get someone to look at you articles and see how you can improve your click rate - 89 articles is a massive achievement, you have a bucket load of time to tweak them and you gotta do the last 11, even if it is just to say that you completed the challenge.
Actually, if you can write that many articles in the first 6 days, you maybe should go for the prize for the top number of articles submitted....imagine the backlinks :o)
I'll admit I don't have near as many artilces on EZA as I should, but the ones I do have there, the links get clicked on average at least one out of every 10 views. Instead of a resource box that says something like "Grady has been doing xxx for yyy years and really knows his stuff. Check out his website at http://www.somewebsite.com", I take what I talked about in the article and use it to draw people to the site. For example, if the article was about 10 things you could do to be more successful, and one of the key things I mention was using affirmations, then I might say something like "Would you like to learn more on how you can create your own affirmations? [with the last four words as a link to the site] Find out how you can at Grady's website at
