Don't Make Money Online on You Tube

Anyone had the message from You Tube yet saying that their videos and account have been terminated?

"................. has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations of our Community Guidelines."

If you are in the Make Money Online niche then you'd better make sure that you have backups of all your videos.
(that probably goes for any other 'shady niches' that have been hit recently)

Thanks for sharing this information, Chris and I'm really sorry to hear that your account was deleted :(

It seems that a lot of accounts have been terminated with words "Make Money" as primary keywords including the following:

Chris Farrell From ChrisFarrellMembership.com: 2 Accounts deleted
Keith Everett from AskTheTipster.com: Over a years worth of Videos removed
Darren Rose from ProBlogger.net
Scott Ayers and David Foster from Hubze.com over 100 videos gone
Ross Goldberg got all his 138 videos taken down and his account terminated

I still love you Youtube – an open letter to @YouTube by David Jenyns

Maybe you could send an email to YouTube's support through this form: Suspended account inquiry

I used to love Youtube... Not for traffic purposes but for enjoying crazy little videos, animated music videos, songs, sports clips, you name it. Now I am slowly started to not visit the site anymore because of there rules, regulations and bombardment of advertisement. It used to be the corporations owned cable tv and we "the people" had Youtube; now they have their greedy little hands in that as well.

About a year ago I was trying to watch a music video of a group that I liked a lot. The guy who had uploaded the video had maybe 8 million views something like that. Anyway click on the video like I had before and I get slapped with a you cannot watch this video in your country page. A month later VeVo has the same music video up with all of there rights to it.

Complete utter crap.

Sorry you lost your account but honestly its just how it is. I guarantee you that sooner or later some big corporation will come in with all their advertisements for "make money online" and whatever they do will be 100% okay.

Fortunately my account wasn't deleted and its not that important to me even if it was... (learned my lesson from the Squidoo thing a few years ago), but I know that plenty of really good IM people have lost hundreds - including Tiffany Dow.

Even the 'great' Frank Kern has taken all his down - at least they were entertaining :o)

The great thing is that now Rebecca Black (you know - Friday) has now gone to paid subscriber only status .... teehee - I know that Clayton will be gutted!

Oh well, moving on.....
