Commenting on high PR blogs/forums better than directories?

It's much easier to comment on high PR blogs and forums than to write articles and submit then to directories.

So I was wondering is it worth it and which is better?

The Money is definitely in the list. At least that is what everybody thinks.
But after 3 years online I figured out that money is in the TEAM.

Hi!

Commenting on blogs and forums are certainly beneficial but not to the same extent as article marketing.
This is because most blogs and forums are nofollow
The best thing to do is comment on blogs and forums AND continue submitting articles at the same time

If you use Firefox, you may use the Affilorama SEO toolbar and all "nofollow" links will be highlighted in red.
