Can't add Google +1 Code

Hi guys,

I'm trying to add the the Google Plus 1 code to my website but when i publish the site the button does not show up.

The codes I'm trying are from http://code.google.com/apis/+1button/ and also http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/

Has anyone else had problems installing the plus1 button????

thanks.....

I suggest you add to code to your website, preview it and check how it looks on your site, then save the changes. Before visiting your site to view the changes, clear your browser's cache first.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

it would help to know what program you are using for your site. If you are using Wordpress, there are a number of plugins that will do it for you automatically.

ahhh.. okay. are you looking at it locally on your computer? it won't show up until you actually publish the site. I dont know why (Im not that big of a techie geek...) but it seems to work that way.

I did a quick search on google http://www.xsitepro.com/messageboard/vi ... =3&t=22268 and it appears the WYSIWYG messes with the code, e.g. the following gets removed

I would imagine as they aren't defined in the WYSIWYG filter as it expects certain html tags.
