Has this ever happened to anyone?
I'm a fairly trusting person and should have checked this person out first before sending him my hard earned cash.

I had been in touch with this guy (I'll call him MarQue) about creating some blogs for me and we were going to flip some on flippa and hopefully earn me some extra cash. I paid him $150 for several Wordpress sites and he was also going to train me how to do the same so I could create more. This all happened before I joined this Chris Farrell site (too bad)so anyway one day turned into two or three and then several and I didn't hear back from him. He finally responded saying he had been sick and would get the sites done. Then it was many more days that he didn't respond so I contacted Paypal and opened up a case against him. By the way he told me in our original phone conversation that I would be protected by Paypal and could receive a refund if I didn't like his service and or the products and that I could still have the sites. Then he said it would never come to this because he knew I'd be happy with everything. So after the case was opened he did in fact contact me within a couple days and told me how sorry he was and would get some of the sites up on Flippa that evening. It never happened and he has ignored all of my constant emails and voice mails ever since. He has totally ripped me off. After he contacted me and said my sites would be ready that evening like a large fool I went onto Paypal cancelled my case and said we were resolving the issue. I didn't know that once you do that you can't reopen the case. I'm just SOL. Be very careful out there.

Hi Michael,

I'm really sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing this. You really can't be too trusting when dealing with people over the internet. It's best to check the background of the person you're hiring and to get feedback from his previous clients. It's also safer to outsource through odesk or elance since they have a set of rules for both employers and contractors to follow so both parties are secure.

Thanks Cecille for the advice. I will be more careful next time. Unfortunitly I originally contacted him on this site Affilorama about helping me develop these sites and he wrote back with an offer to create them. Plus I saw some other sites that he at least claimed he created.

Hi Michael,

Do you know the username he uses on the site? We have received another report of a member doing something similar to another Affilorama member. Do you have his name or email address?

Thanks,

About me
Let's keep it real!! I have had my share of "Secret exploit push button" programs that do not live up to the hype.
I am a computer geek that loves the freedom to have my laptop, a internet connection and a way to make money. I want to Pay It Forward and teach it to others (that are and are not computer geeks).
My websites

I call him everyday and ask for him to do the right thing and give me my money back and contact me. It always goes to voice mail and no return call or email. Needless to say I don't or even want the web sites any longer from him because I don't trust this guy. I'm on disability and just wanted the extra income from flipping some sites and a few PLR sites he was going to build. Now I'm out the $150 and no sites.

Thanks very much for your interests Cecille.
