Building initial organic traffic on new AffiloTheme sites?

Hi all,

Great being here and new to the forums!

I'm an AffiloBlueprint member and recently bought AffiloTheme to start building new niche sites.

Prior to AffiloBlueprint, I had launched a site called ILoveBeingHappilyMarried.com which has some organic traffic (+/- 3K visitors a month), a Facebook page with 15K fans (http://Facebook.com/ILoveBeingHappilyMarried) and a list of approx 230 email subs.

I previously believed that having fans and subs would mean there were opportunities for monetization via affiliate offers, but I have learned in practice that "Happy Marriages" usually don't have any problems to solve. :-)

Anyway, I purchased AffiloBlueprint and have been learning to identify niches that have a "real need" for help and could benefit from affiliate products.

As a result, I have rolled out two new sites to address real issues and help people who have a real need for products that will help them.

My two new AffiloTheme powered sites are http://WeightLossDestination.com and http://INeedToGetPregnant.com

I've made several sales on the INeedtoGetPregnant.com via driving Facebook PPC traffic but haven't pushed anything to WeightLossDestination.com

My question is.... How can I help speed up the process of generating organic traffic to these sites and how long should I expect to wait until I see some organic activity if I keep posting quality articles?

I am writing and publishing 2 new keyword rich articles weekly on both of my new AffiloTheme niche sites but they are still new and I don't see any organic traffic yet.

Any recommendations on which areas I should focus on first to speed up the process of receiving organic traffic?

For example, focus on back link Building? Posting articles to the free article submission directories? Guest posting and leaving comments on other theme related blogs? Basically - there are lots of things I can do but currently "there is only one me" so which ones should I focus on first?

Note: ILoveBeingHappilyMarried.com spread virally due to the fact that I publish lots of inspirational quotes which people are constantly looking for and sharing on Facebook, but selling affiliate offers tied to inspirational quotes in my actual experience had been hardly monetizable.

Thanks everyone and I really appreciate any feedback, suggestions or comments you may have!

Best and wishing everyone lots of success on their affiliate sales!

This is true although, I guess there's no harm in selling them books/eBooks that help keep the fires burning or something of the sort. :)

If we're talking speed of getting organic traffic, then social media marketing is the way to go. If you're always publishing new content then make sure to post that on your site's social media sites. The challenge here is catching the user's attention. Images and videos are more likely to go viral, so I suggest you use an eye-catching/interesting image, or a humorous one that describes your article. Or maybe, instead of an article create a video instead and share that on social media sites.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Hi George,

I suggest you create a linkbuilding strategy that can also bring you direct traffic like doing guest posts, blog commenting to related sites, forum posting, posting to answer sites, and being active in social media.

For SEO, you can first prioritize easy to rank keywords to get your pages in SERPs.

I also suggest you constantly update your site with good content. The more and often you publish new content, the higher the chances that you'll build traffic in time.

I hope that helps!
