Hi Chants,
Maybe the tech staff here on the forum can give you more advice on this but,
If you have multiple domains pointing to 1 main site then you need to use 301 redirects.
You don't want to look like a link farm if you start forwarding all the sites to one main site, so use 301 redirects.
This is unlikely to happen with just 2 domains though.
Multiple domain names pointing to your main site will not help your rankings.
You may get some stray traffic though but I would rather concentrate on building links to the main site.
Also, forwarding a URL from within your domain account to another main URL is not a good practice as most forwards are 302 redirects and Google will see the URL's as duplicate content sites and ignore them completely.
Or, worse.. Google changes there algorithm down the track and penalizes you for having multiple domains pointing to one main site for the sole purpose of manipulating the search engines.
So all your other URL's pointing to the main page should be 301 redirects.
Basically, Your domain names need to be routed from the domain name registrar to a hosting account - from the hosting account you'll need to set a Permanent Redirect to your main site.
More info on that here...

I Just gotta add this one guys...
A friend called me today and I haven't spoken to him in 6 mths.
After a couple of minutes I got the stock standard question that always comes up in conversations...
"Sooo, you still doin' that internet thing"
lmao

Hey Clayton,
Yeah this is a bit of a hit and miss thing.
A site is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.
If a site is 6 mths old, it is not really much to go by as the traffic could increase or decrease depending on your SEO efforts, new competition etc..
12 mths is a better indication of a sites earning potential.
Consider how many articles/pages are on the site 10 or 50.
or, has the income increased every month for 12 mths.
also, an online auction will get less than a negotiated sale.
People even sell or flip sites to offline business people for alot more than they can get for it online.
Hey, You just gave me an idea for an article on my blog, Thanks...lol

Thanks Mark.
Good point on the fact that it does indeed encourage more people to play the game.
I suppose you are right in the fact that it probably best to not use a trademarked name in your domain.
Thanks for responding Mark.

Hi Sandra,
It depends on the bonus.
I don't really go for them myself.
If it's included in an offer that I already want to promote then great. It's a good side bonus.
Of course, if they offer a brand new Motorbike or something then that would sway me...lol

Long term success will not be focused on how your page urls are created. So don't "sweat the small stuff" as the say. The only thing I can think of as to why it is good to have no caps is for when people want to return to your site and think... hm... now what page was that?
or The second version is easier and you don't have to tell people to "remember" to cap the first letter.
Great Points Chrisi.
