You would have to tell the robots.txt file to ignore the ebooks.
But why would you do that? I would rather Google find my ebooks.

I think it depends on the reviewer as well.
Some may be ok, while others need to take a lesson in what is a good quality site and a bad one.

It is possible that after you unpaused the ad it underwent a manual review and the landing page is poor in the reviewers opinion.
You will need to improve that landing page from what they have told you above.

Hi Brian,
Before writing your articles you would want to do some keyword research right?
Just writing an article for the sake of a filling space is a waste of time in my opinion.
However you may rank for some key phrases without even knowing and if you did, then you may as well keep the articles on the site and write more content related to that high ranking articles subject matter.
You build a site to add value, solve problems and make money correct? so why not do it properly right from the start.
Think long term.
Having said this, having some content on a site is better than having none at all or worse yet, not even starting a site. :)
