About me
I grew up in New York and was what physiologists would call a “latch key kid”. It was a time when Mom’s stayed home, and Dad’s worked. However, both my parents worked, it was from them I learned to have an entrepreneurial sprit.
For over 40 years I made a very good living doing the things I love. Since the 60’s I have been able to use my talent as an interior designer to buy and sell distressed properties. In addition, for several years I provided food service to the construction trades on major projects around New York. Everything I have done in business was somehow connected to my creativity.
I now live in Florida, what some people call “God’s waiting room”. What a beautiful waiting room it is. I started buying and selling distressed houses in Florida in 2002, the market was crazy. Houses would bring huge profits, of course we knew that would not last. However, we didn’t know just how bad it would be.
Now the picture has changed dramatically, there are few jobs, people are losing their homes in record numbers. There are great deals to purchase, but what do you do with them. No jobs, people don’t buy, no jobs, you can’t rent.
I meet people everyday that feel they have no options, young and old.. Many people in my age group have little chance of getting a job. I myself have lost 50% of my values, which was supposed to be there to take care of me when I really get old.
Being the kind of person I am, I decided that the internet had to be the answer for all of us, no matter what age. All I had to do was figure out what part of that huge internet world was real and what was hype.
I am a person that does not do things quickly, failing is not an option for me. So for the past year I have been going from one program to another, the trial and error method. Then I found Affiliorama, I’m not even sure how. Again I studied the program and felt that two things about the program made it worth my effort.
One, the obvious abilities of Mark Ling, he is wise beyond his years. In my opinion, having the ability to do something is a very small part of the equation, many people have abilities. However, I could see that Mark went far beyond just having the knowledge. He had a complete business plan. A plan that his employees could follow and a plan that his members could follow.
Two, the clarity of the program. I know that many people have started this with little internet marketing knowledge. I had that and zero knowledge of how to operate a computer. It is still slow going for me, because I have to learn the program but also learn how to do the mechanics of the computer. For me the help I get from Affiliorama support is worth more than the cost of the program, there patience is remarkable.
My belief is that if you do your homework and create something of value, the money will come. My goal is to be able to learn this well enough to give all the folks I meet that believe they have no options something to motivate them. The retired business people that are still viable , that think all they can do is be a greeter at Wal-Mart. The young people that think they will never own their own home or have money for their children’s education.
That is what motivates me everyday to do something that is way beyond my ability, but failure it not an option, for them or for me.
