Hey guys,

I just thought I'd make a short post about an elance author that I recommend. She is a journalism graduate from New Zealand, she has only done a few elance projects but has 100% feedback thus far and I've used her to write for me with great success.

Thanks for the recommendation Mark. You wouldn't happen to have her contact details with you would you? I've invited her to a project proposal of mine which was a couple of days ago and she has yet to respond. I don't believe Elance allows you to communicate with the writers until they have responded to your invite.

She charges $500 for one 450 word article ! ! ! Is that not a bit expensive? jees

The really good authors tend to raise their prices because they know they are worth it. Yes, it may cost that much for the article, but they are usually good enough that the article will make its money back 3 times over.

Also, people who just want cheap content aren't her target customers. She probably has so much work at those prices she probably still doesn't take on every job. The good ones know what their time is worth, and charge accordingly.

Still, not sure where you get 500/article. she does 30/hour which usually works out to 1-2 articles

i asked her how much it would cost per article and she said $500 per 450 - 500 word article and i asked her if she could go cheaper and that i didn't want to pay that much just for one article, and she just replyed "well good luck to you"

I can only speak from my own experience working with Tash.Since I am still new to this whole process I felt that I wanted someone to "lighten the learning load". Article rewriting and keyword research was taking a great deal of time. Tash has just completed another project and it was excellent.

I felt that if I trusted Mark enough to pay for his knowledge, then his recommendation should be good. Her prices are in line with other good writers and she doesn't mind answering my newbie questions.

I may be sorry for writing this because she may get too busy. However, in my Skype conversations I don't see Tash as being so bad mannered as to cut someone off as you mentioned.

Hi, Daveyace. I think there may have been a misunderstanding. Tash informed us that she did not charged you $500 for a 500-word (obviously, that's too much!). She clarified to us that she gave you a rate per article and per rewrites. Then told you that she prefers article packs in 10, 20 or 30 to do. The US $500 price might be for an entire package.

@daveyace, Mark Ling does not make recommendations lightly. You should know that by now, having already been a member for almost six months. If you have doubts then don't follow the recommendation. It's as simple as that.
