Links in articles

Can anybody help me? I have submitted an article to a few different directories but in some, such as goarticles and article dashboard the links aren't showing up. They are working fine in other directories and I have tried cutting and pasting them from both MS word and Frontpage but still no luck.
Any ideas?

links can be a bit of a problem if the html code isnt exactly right, but good to see youre checking them - the golden rule of publishing anything to the web is check the links work! too easy to assume they do :)
