How To Use The Squeeze Page

Where does squeeze page go in the site logic in the website? I got the squeeze page for my eBook but don't know where or how to use it. Do I make it my "Landing Page" so they avoid my web site or do I point to it in the body text of the "Welcome Page"? So they can visit my whole site first? Thanks.

I use it as a stand alone page so they land there first and are not distracted by your other sites. Once they get your book, you can always re-direct them to the rest of the site on your thank-you page.

Do you even need a website if you are only doing squeeze pages and affiliate marketing?

Technically, a squeeze page is a website. But it seems that he wants to have a full website as well. Plus, if you are marketing various products, I'm thinking that once you have the lead from your squeeze page, you can send them to (or back to) your full site and so begin to create a sense of trust in the new lead's mind.

Hi John,

You can make the squeeze page a popover and make it appear on the page relevant to product you are selling or at the homepage. Also, you can make it as a landing page too, and just make a link to your main site if you have any.

If you're running a PPC campaign, or whatever other traffic strategy you're using, you first send them to the squeeze page.

This assumes that you
(1) have a page already set up with what you are offering (with the sign up form in an autoresponder) and another page to take them to AFTER they complete the sign up page (the thank-you page)

(2) when they submit their info, your autoresponder sends them to the thank-you page you already set up, which can do various things besides thanking them--like reminding them to confirm they requested the information from you, and also give them a link to a page on your website for content related to what they just signed up for.

3) The other thing you can try is: once they are confirmed, on the next email, send them a link inviting them to wherever you want them to go.

I hope that answers your question, but if not--let me know.

Have a great day,

Vivian

If you're doing solo ads or PPC as Vivian said, then you can use the squeeze page as your destination or landing page so you can build your list.

In Affilotheme, squeeze pages have their own links so they are not visible anywhere on your site, and you can use their direct links when setting up PPC or solo ads. You can view them by going to Affilotheme > Squeeze Pages and Opt in Forms

You can view the Thank You and Download pages by clicking on the Pages tab on your Wordpress Dashboard. You can edit these so that they have links to your site, or they contain a link or video to another affiliate offer.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Leave your website as it is.

When you share your eBook on social media, or on other websites, link to your squeeze page.

Generally squeeze pages are tailored for a specific audience. In particular people make squeeze pages for PPC campaigns. For example: if you create a PPC campaign around the topic of "dogs" you would create a squeeze page for your "dog ebook". If you created a PPC campaign around "cats" you would create a separate squeeze page around your "cats ebook".

Another Example: if you had a ebook specifically for the Affilorama audience, you would create a squeeze page for them and link from your forum signature or posts to that squeeze page.

The idea of a squeeze page is to increase the relevance of the page a visitor lands on for a specific audience. They are not linked to in the website itself.

The idea of a squeeze page is, as its name implies, to "squeeze" information (namely at least name and email) from a visitor in exchange for the ebook or whatever else is being offered. The relevance of the squeeze page itself to what the visitor is looking for and what is being offered is what will impact conversions on that page.

Would a squeeze page have it's own domain name aside from the actual website domain name?

You can make the squeeze page the only page on your site so your site's domain name is the link to your squeeze page too. But, a squeeze page usually shares the domain name with the website like http://www.yoursite.com/s/sign-up

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

I am following the step-by-step instructions for creating a new squeeze page but all of the updates are not "taking." I tried inserting the ebook .png image several ways - having the .png image in my media library, uploading from the cover choices, and having the image in my picture folder and uploading. It would work when I updated and then selected "view", but then it always goes back to the default html brown book.

I then inserted the text for the bullet points, I updated and then viewed the bullet points on the squeeze page just like they were supposed to be, but it continues to revert back to the latin text. I was able to change the subscribe buttons and other texts, but those two are just not sticking. Am I missing something?

I suggest you clear your browser's cache each before viewing any changes you make on your website. This ensures that you are looking at a new version of the site and not the one that the browser saved on your computer.

You can do that or use a different browser to view your website.
