Free online ebook cover creator - check it out

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd share some info. with you about a free, online ebook cover creator. I'm not sure if it's been posted here before but I couldn't see it anywhere... It's pretty cool.

Check it out at:
http://www.myecovermaker.com

You can use it to create a great ebook cover in only a few minutes. You can also use it to make box, magazine, dvd covers as well.

I thought that it might be helpful to someone! :)

Note: I have no association with this site!

Regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for sharing.
I am sure the members like to here about free resources.
It is fine for simple covers but not the spine of the book as well, it won't do spines.
Also the font is very simple.
Still a good find though... thanks.

OMG - Paul thank you so much! I made a beautiful cover from one of the photos of the roses in my garden .... and it fits so perfectly now with my site ...
My previous efforts with Photoshop really sucked.

Yet another question! I joined up with My Ecover Maker, and while I think it's easy to use, and I've made an ebook cover I'm happy with, I can't work out how to get it onto the cover of my ebook as the correct size. (in this case How To Be The Alpha Dog) . The page itself (from myecovermaker) just won't 'stretch' big enough. I'm obviously missing something fairly simple, as no-one else appears to have had this problem, and I would once again appreciate any help from the members of this forum.

Cheers - Jan

Hi Jan,

I haven't used My eCover Maker so I can't tell you how to resolve that. I did stumble upon their forums and you might want t to post your inquiry there too. I tried to look for issues similar to yours in other forums but was not successful.

Thanks Cecille, I have posted on their forum - it must be pretty new as there aren't many members. But hopefully I'll get an answer from someone somewhere!

Hi Jan,

It's been awhile. Were you able to get in touch with someone at the My eCover Maker forums?

Hi Cecille,

I did contact someone at My eCover Maker, and got a reply fairly quickly, but unfortunately it didn't really address my problem. It was difficult to explain in an email, so after trying for a couple more days, getting more and more frustrated I went and spoke to my trusty computer nerd, who showed me what to do in a couple of minutes!!!

Hi Jan,

I'm glad to hear you were able to get it resolved. I was getting ready to get hold of a trusty technical staff in case you didn't. *wink*

Thanks for the update. Have a very merry Christmas! :)
