Which hosting is best? ASP, Windows vs PHP, Linux?

Hie Guys,

Generally which is a better option going with asp.net and windows hosting or with linux and php. Im familiar with asp more but was wondering bout php coz it seems to have more free utilities available especially as the add ons in here are php. More tempted for php, linux so called LAMP

Welcome aboard.

There really isn't a major difference except if you need the asp extension. I use linux for most of my sites and it works just perfect.

Well been working on some sites and got hosting on linux and i'm quite pleased with it. With open source software there is loads of free add ons and stuff you can without resorting to buying expensive proprietary software.

Hats off to this guy, newbies must have to jump start you earning
