Using Duplicate Websites - Add your own content?
When you are using duplicate websites, should you add your own content to help with your ranking? Maybe creating you own home page?

You shouldn't be duplicating anything... your site will be penalized.

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer... if pages on your site look too similar to other pages out there, they will be seen as being duplicate content and you'll find it very hard to rank well in the search engines. I'm not too sure why you would want to duplicate your website (enlighten us?) but if you are using a significant amount of duplicate content, you should try to re-word it, add extra content to the page, do anything you can to make your page look different.
Good luck
