Setting up a website with a build a niche site? Any success?

hi all, bought the bans software the other day and wondered if anyone has had any success with it? It looks a bit complicated to set up,I usually use xsitepro and bans dont seem to offer much help in letting you know how to get it online (apart from the user manual) using xsp. If anyone has succeeded in setting a site up would love to hear from you.
I also promote bans on one of my sites but would prefer to endorse something I know works.
