Do I need a dedicated server for a site like myspace.com?
Hello
I need advise of experienced people with hosting
For a site similar to myspace.com
Registered 30,000 profiles and for example 3,000 users logging in at same time in 1 hour.
Does a VPS 1 gb ram can handle it or i will have to use dedicated server.
Thanks in advance

VPS have other domains using it. So 1 GB ram VPS won't be enough if you have that many clients and concurrent users.
It would be best to have a dedicated server for that kind of site.

I suggest a dedicated server or a colocation web hosting service.

As the others have said. And if you get as big as MySpace you'll likely need more than one server. You'll be talking plurals.
But then you'll be rolling in dough by that point LOL :O)
