This topic is only applicable to UK web site marketeers/owners. How are you going to deal with the changes to UK cookie laws, which bring the UK in-line with the EU?

Hi essexboyracer,
Thank you for sharing this. This would greatly impact the not just affiliate marketers, but other online businesses. I found an interesting article about the UK Cookie Law with a link to a guide on what can be done about it: Cookie Law Makes Most UK Websites Illegal

I have not really got any suggestions for how best to deal with it. But recommend you check out this thread on a uk based affiliate forum: New EU Law set to Require Cookie Consent
There are also a number of other threads regarding the subject on that forum.

Thanks for sharing that chettvq24! That thread was a good read and I guess a lot of us are paying more attention to this seeing as it is almost the end of the year. if I remember correctly, EU wants websites to comply by May of next year.

The EU Cookie Law has been passed and I am updating this thread with an excellent article I came across in a web-hosting blog: What to do about the new EU cookie law
The articles discusses what the EU Cookie Law is and how EU websites can comply.
Hope that helps. Have a good day!
