Hi there,
I too have the problem of the 'www' or no 'www'.
I actually would like to have the 'www' but whenever I type the full URL WITH the 'www' (i.e. http://www.domain.com), it does go to my site but the 'www' disappears. I would like to make it so that it does NOT disappear.
I am using wordpress with my own domain; do you know of any settings I can change or something I can do to make it so the 'www' stays put when entering my domain into the address bar?
Thanks for reading :)

Cosmo,
Here is how I am fixing (for now) the "www" versus "no www" problem. Log into your Wordpress' site, this will bring you to the "dashboard page" it actually says Dashboard in the upper left side of the page.
Scroll down to bottom of the page (left side) to Settings, click on Settings to open the drop down menu then click on General.
Once on the General Settings page about the 4th box down it says "Blog address URL" type into that box
As I stated in my question to the forum I'm not positive this is 100% the best way to do this but it is the way i am doing it for now. Also, if you make this change you must use the old
If you plan on doing any link building be sure to always use the www. address or you will wind up splitting your links between the 2 URLS'.. I hope this helps...Steve

and by the way, in my link building I have used 100% 'www' address and that is the reason I wanted to sort out this issue. I have made a choice to just stick with 'www' for ALL my websites and ink building so I don't get confused. Anywhay, thanks again :)
