Affilotheme Sidebar Slider Widget

I have a dog training jet pack site which isn't doing well. So after using affiltools and Google analytics I saw that people were not staying long on the site so I migrated it to Affilotheme

In order to make it more sticky and to draw attention to the sidebar signup form I decided to put the affilo sidebar widget slider ( revolving pictures of different breeds of dogs) above the signup box.

It worked well at first. The next day the slider images was gone. The widget was still there but the images could not be seen. Looking inside the widget the image boxes were there but showing the library address not the image.

I deleted the widget reinstalled it and reloaded the images from the library. Worked well at first but the same problem reoccurred the next day.

Thoughts anyone?

I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion caused. Are you using Wordpress 3.9 and Affilotheme 4.1.17/4.1.18?

 Dear Ceclle,

I am using WP 3.9.1 and Theme 4.1.18

I have had a bit of a play on my site.

I have deleted the slideshow and the widget. Then created a new slideshow.

I then go to edit the slideshow page. What I have found is that the images in the media library are not displayed in the bottom half of the page under the media library section. Only the "add new" and "add slide" button can be seen. The rest is blank. Previously The images were displayed in this section.

If I select the add slide a blank box appears in the slider area.

I check the media library and the images are still there.

If I try to upload a new image from my PC that does not show in the slider page but appears in the media library.

Basicly the slideshow cannot see the contents of the media library.

More confused.

 Hi Jonathan,

Are you still having the same issue in Affilotheme? I think you sent an email through to support and the issue was forwarded to our technical staff.

We released a new version of Affilotheme (4.1.23). Please make sure to update the theme to that and try the slideshow again. I also recommend disabling all plugins to see if one of them is causing the issue.
