Where should backlinks be located?
I have been using some of the tools available for looking at backlinking and comparing with competitors sites and some websites I look at have all the pages on their website linked back to the main url. Does it make a difference if on my pages I put backlinks to the main page as http://www.mypage.com/index.html or should it be http://www.mypage.com? Also how long should it take for these subpages to show in backlink searches as currently mine do not show.
