What's With The Yahoo/ Bing Thing?
I've read the following in an article on a substantial site:
"You will lose a lot of traffic if your web page currently has high rankings on Yahoo but not on Bing. Yahoo's own results will be dropped after the transition to the new Bing results."
I find this interesting because my keywords are slowly making their way up the rankings in both Google and Bing, but absolutely nothing in Yahoo, which I found strange before I read this statement. In the past on other websites I ranked easier for Yahoo than the other two.
Is Bing now replacing Yahoo??

Hi Stargate66, it looks like the transition has already begun last month. Check out this link:

Thanks Ampie G - that clears it then. Looking at my Bing rankings I'm going to be OK then :-)

Just to clear everything here up...while that article may be not be inaccurate, it's misleading. In reality, the only search engine you should be worrying about is google. Engineer your site to perform for google and once you're on the top 10 for your keywords and pulling in great traffic, worry about the others. The other engines, while good, command a small fraction of googles traffic.
