Time Management

I'm having a hard time organizing my link building strategy.. I know what I have to do... but I have not too many hours to build links and it's a little frustrating cause I feel like I want to do everything at once...

How do you organize your day/schedule to build links? do you have daily goals or things like that?

Here is what you can do:

First put your entire strategy on an excel sheet. Divide your link building strategy into segments like directory submission, article submission etc. Assign each of them a date and number of hours. Follow that through. Don't let new information deviate you from the plan.

yep that's what I've implemented somehow...

I did a spreadsheet with each item (forum posts, web 2.0 articles, etc) and a goal... and then like a calendar with some spaces so I can note what I've done and I haven't done so far... I will try to stick to that for a week and see what happens... link building needs organization... you are completely lost if you don't follow a plan... :\

Also , use TT kw analysis tool to give yourself a target. Setting a specific # of links to build to each page will help rather than just posting links indefinitely.

What I do is take the average of the top 10 sites, double it, and build that # of links to each page, then check rankings and see which pages still need more.

it is easier to have a measurabl goal that you can control. just saying build links until you reach the top of google is setting a goal to something outside of your control
