RSS Feed Idea: Good or Bad?

I just thought of something. Why not submit my website's RSS feed to some RSS directories? Would this be a good or bad idea? And why?

 Hi Alain,

RSS do not have any SEO value. It is mostly used as a way to be able to read web content simpler. And since RSS is still used by a lot of people, yes you can submit your site to RSS feeds.

 I think the rss feed it easier for people to steal our web content.
RSS feeds will help you to gain more rss feed readers!
