Problem with Article Dashboard

Has anyone had problems with Article Dashboard? I just recently started posting articles there and slowly getting them approved. I noticed that the hyperlinks that I placed in each article are all pointing back to that same article and not to my main site. For some reason they are automatically setting my hyperlinks to point back to the same page that they're originating from which is Article Dashboard. I'm following the submission guidelines and I've check my hyperlinks many times. I've tried contacting Article Dashboard but they haven't answered. I normally wouldn't be so concerned it if it weren't for the fact that I've already submitted like 10 articles to them already.

Thanks,
P

i dont use them they are no follow anyway, and really wont do you any good.

of course, I stay away from article directories. I have 3 that i post to. ARticlebse, goarticles, and Article Productions (which is a paid directory). otherwise i use web2.0 properties, and outsource my link building.

Yeah I have had problems with them too. funnily enough the main reason for me ditching them was that their site took too long to load! I finally gave up on them and mainly stick to about 8 or 9 others like EZA, Goarticles, Article City, Article Ally etc.

I still submit to around 50 directories or so and have always found them to give me some benefit. Remember that there are lot more factors that Google takes into account when you are competing for the top slots. I also submit to some paid directories and they give me an upper edge in comparison to my competitors.

article directories are still valid, and they will help some. however, I have focused more on social sites. there are so many and i get better results. posting a few original articles on blogs, social sites, and engaging those people has given me more direct traffic and sales, sometimes before google even indexes that new page on my site. for example, I made a new blog post yesterday, made a post on a few social sites and did some blog comments, along with my usuall forum, and that page has already gotten over 200 visitors.

Google is nice, and you should try to get rankings but they should not be the focus of your traffic strategy in my opinion.
