This tool was one of my favorites before Yahoo removed the bid tool (removed broken link)

Does anyone know of any good free Google sitemap generators that will work for a site that has near 3,000 pages? I have went through a ton of free ones but nothing that is any good.

This is a site I have seen where they give different products away everyday that they would normally sell

http://www.giveawayoftheday.com

It seems that if you do not get it on the day, then you would need to buy it later.

The following link is for their freeware products

This is a full working version of a newly released keyword research tool that is pre-loaded with over 7.7 million niche keyword phrases, in over 42,000 root topics.

...With estimated daily search count volume included.

There are two demonstration videos that you watch online at...

(broken link)

And...

(broken link)

After both videos you will be automatically taken to the home page (broken link) where you can get the download information.

You won't have to spend a cent to get this ... and its pretty outstanding.

Good stuff guys.

PS: Geoff Punn or anyone.... do not use a link trading service like Got links if they require you to install their code on your site.... other sites linking 1 way to you is one thing... but I've heard iffy issues about their "reciprical" program.

This is a great tool you can use for spidering your or someone else's site.
You will receive an analysis of 'the good and the not so good' about your site. It also has a printout of all words appearing on your pages - useful when you are looking for words with a higher density (over 2) to link back to ... and not necessarily keywords.

I've repeated the link to the videos below - sorry I should have ha dthis here before.

Morning everyone :D

Tell me what you think of this:

http://directorysubmitter.imwishlist.com/

I've just downloaded it and it looks pretty good. The free version submits to 350 directories and the paid version ($47) submits to 1700. It's not entirely automated as you still need a human to fill out the captchas but it prefills all the essentials for you... which is nice.

Oh ok, cool :)

I also found there was a WSO for it (at the Warrior Forum for those who haven't heard) for $27 if anyone's interested. You can add your own directories to the paid version... which is also nice.

If you use Firefox for browsing the web, there is an awesome add-on that allows you to view various things about each site that you visit. View information such as; PageRank, Alexa Rank, Keyword Density, Internal & external links, whois info and a whole lot more. This is really handy if you're trying to ethically 'spy' on competition to see how they rank so well in the search engines.

Here's the link, check it out: http://ff.seoquake.com/

Just another addition. I found this Firefox plugin the other day which is quite good for in-browser writing and optimization. Lets you check keywords and search counts all from within your browser. Then it tells you how many times it appears in what you've written. Pretty cool.

I'm not sure how many know this (as it's not actually mentioned on the TT homepage) but Traffic Travis has a new SEO Analysis feature that reviews the top ten (page one) results for a specific keyword and tells you everything about them so you can see what they're doing right ... and what you can beat them on!

The most powerful SEO technology of the future (because off page SEO is on it's way out in case you haven't heard) is what is referred to as content syndication networking. This is where you join a network of content syndicators and vote and bookmark for each other to get traffic as well as search engine visibility.

You won't find many gurus talking about this.

In fact one of Mark's friends who did an interview in Affilorama talking about SEO is a leading edge expert on content syndication and has built a tool that is fully automated and has been proven to obtain massive results in the search engines just by generating social buzz within the network... causing Google to respond relatively quite quickly - without any link building at all! I was very surprised to hear this because of what we hear ALL THE TIME about getting links (which I still think has value - at least for the time being)

What happens is, social buzz about your content within the content syndication network (CSN) begets social buzz out in the real world - natural social buzz. This is reliant on good content of course but generally this kind of technology is an instigator. It gives you enough of a kick-start so your content gets seen in the social networks. Being completely automated, it reduces the amount of time marketing to about 10% and leaves the rest of the time wide open for creating higher and higher quality content, which, in turn attracts the search engines.

On my website, my traffic jumped like 500% a day after I started using the tool. I am really looking forward to seeing results over the next week, month, year.

Has anyone tried MicroNiche Finder?...I came accross it a few days ago and it seems like a good keyword tool....I Believe they just increased the price though...I'm sure it was only $47 on Monday...it is now posted for $97...seems a little pricey but if it is a good tool it might be worth it.

That reminds me, I have this tool from a while ago, which, I haven't really used all that much. Let me try using it again and see what kind of results I get and I'll get back to you.

Micro Niche Finder is an excellent program. I have used it for a year or so and have nothing but good things to say about it. It also has free updates for life, and it is continuously being improved. I just downloaded the latest update 2 or 3 days ago. It is $97, and has been for about a year or so. I remember because I was kind of 'on the fence' before I bought it...when it was only $67. I got an email from the program developer saying the price was going up, but I screwed around and didn't buy until it was $97. It was still worth it though.

Hey Jeff, I have Micro Niche Finder as well :) Can you tell me some of your success stories or tips on how you use it for positive results? I always find it gives you fairly limited results even if you input variations on particular keyword phrases. What are your experiences?

Hi Cosmo,

MNF just uses the Google search results, so I'm not sure why you would be getting "fairly limited results." It hasn't done
anything for me that I couldn't have done with the FREE Google Keyword Tool, but I like having everything it offers all
in one place.

Are you having success with keyword research in general ? If so, you should also do fine with MNF. If not, there are nearly endless resources (including on this site) on keyword research.

Not sure anyone's found this one yet. Google Insights http://www.google.com/insights/search

It's like 40x cooler than google trends or even twitter's trends. It breaks down and compares any keywords you want, giving you upcoming hot related searches, and the top most related searches. It's quite the awesome tool. Also breaks down search volume demographics on a map. I use this with Google Analytics to keep people coming to my social network profiles, and on youtube I use youtube Insight to compare with Google Insights and find wonderful correlations and ideas.

Hey everyone,
I am sure everyone has there favorite tool but if you have not fully explored Traffic Travis you need to. I had Market Samurai and Adword Analyzer. The free edition of Traffic Travis does all I need and Mark is right who cares how many competing sites there are. You want to know what the top competition is like and if they can be passed. There could be 50 million and it still be doable if the top sites are less than top quality.
Best,
Leiif

The two tools I use the most are traffic travis and free traffic system. Before I found traffic travis it used to take me hours to do keyword reserarch. I did keyword research for the blog boot camp in about 30min!

You can't beat Free Traffic System for your back links. I own magic article re-writer which makes this tool easier to use but I've been using Free Traffic System to build links long before I paid anything for magic article re-writer.

I'm not sure what platforms it comes in but I know with linux you can use the windows program emulator to use programs. Magic Article Re-writer is pretty sweet even if it isn't free. Oh I highly suggest picking up Magic Article Submitter too. I got them as a package deal. I recently submitted two PLR articles using that tool which were free for affiliates to use and I gained 20 back links in about 3 days. Google hasn't picked up on them but yahoo has.

If your going to be spinning articles I suggest memberships to Free Traffic System and AMA to get the most from your articles. Those 4 tools combined are like and SEO bomb!

I use both Google keyword tool and wordpot.com tool. Wordpot you can register free and do 20 searches a day I think.

SEOBook has some pretty cool tools for free. Search engine ranking checker, Compete.com Uniques, Alexa.com,
WordPress.org has some great plug ins, if you're using them for site building.

Sorry I didn't include this... a question:

I found that my 10-year-old business website has a Google PR of 2 !
I'm actually very pleasantly surprised by that, in that I've never done anything to promote SEO. It also has an Alexa ranking of about 10.2 million. Ha !

The problem: I can't see where it actually is in Google because I can't see anything past the first 1,000 results in Google. I'm going to start an SEO campaign, and I'd like to know Where I am Now in Google.

The question: What Free tools are available to tell me where my very-low-ranking website is in Google?

I'd need that info to judge any progress in the forthcoming SEO attempt.

Thanks, people.

Mark51, try to check keywordspy.com and semrush.com (you can find bookmarks for your site on push2check.com) - they check millions of queries in google and may be you can find your site in their databases.
It will be much better to put to your site a code of any free counter service that shows users that come from search engines.

I couldnt find many/any ideal sites to share links in New Zealand (.co.nz) for SEO love, so I created my own :)

The attributes I required and built in are:

-Do follow links
-HTML text descriptions with anchor text links allowed
-Tags
-Catergorised
-Bookmarking functions
-Free!

They are at:

www.socialbookmarking.co.nz
www.linkbuilding.co.nz

No spamming is tolerated, so keep it PG :)
