How Long To Wait Before Backlinks Are Indexed?
I have a new site about 2 weeks old and did the necessary things ON AND OFF PAGE SEO. In the off page SEO I did a couple of natural backlinks about maybe 12 good links from high and low PR. It's been a week and a half already and I have not seen yet any backlinks that I did iindexed in my Google Webmaster Tools. How long should these backlinks be indexed and seen in my website report. A week after...two weeks...or a month or so after they have been linked???
Your answers will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

There is NO established time for backlinks to be recognized. Pinging the backlinks may help in hastening the backlink recognition however it is not guaranteed. Backlinks from high PR websites are usually recognized relatively quickly, 2 -3 weeks later. Backlinks to low PR sites might take several months before the links are recognized.
Continue your backlinking efforts. Your website will eventually be credited for your backlinking work. This business requires steady consistent actions. Patience is a great character asset to possess. Good luck!

Hi,
Unfortunately, Google never reports all of your backlinks, even if it does recognize them. A few weeks is not enough time anyways.
The best way to get links indexed is by using backlink energizer and scrapebox. Put the links through the energizer then check to see if they are indexed by using scrapebox. This is much more effective than simply pinging the links.

Never use any automatic script or software to build backlinks you will slapped by Google panda.
Do not direct link to your main domain, link to inner pages.
Regarding the time frame, if backlinks are above PR4 they are indexed within few hours if they are dofollow.
There are lots of other things which one should know regarding backlinks before using backlink building strategies.

Thanks so much! So backlinks results take time! How much do we have to add backlinks per day? Thanks again!

Your website should produce results with as few as five (5) newly created backlinks each day. Consistency is of prime importance. Determine the amount of time you can devote the backlink creation daily.
It is important with new websites that you do not create too many backlinks at any one time. Massive backlink creation creates a "RED FLAG" that causes the search engines to look at your site suspiciously. The search engines want the backlinks created to be natural. Large numbers of backlinks created all at one time is NOT natural. An older website can acquire a greater number of backlinks without causing search engine suspicion.

I have about a dozen websites now that I harvest pingbacks (notifications that links are placed via blog comments back to me) and various other backlinks for. Like a previous comment said using a backlink energizer network for your links is one of your best options. I have tried ping on isolated instances and on mass scales of links and it simply doesn't cut it anymore.
Here is my indexing service of choice for those just starting out:
http://www.ultraseobacklinks.com/backli ... tml#tabs-2
Its a pretty decent service that will give you a report saying which links are and aren't indexed. I just resubmit the links that aren't indexed over and over. My sites (both micro niche and large authority) have fully benefited from its use.
If you want a bit more quality for your dollar you can go with the higher end service:
http://backlinksindexer.com/
That's pretty much the highest rated indexer in the IM world right now. You can hit upwards of 70% for all types of links with it. Only downside is that its a little costly, especially for newbies.

In my opinion, it all depends on the website we insert the link. if the website has loved spider bot and they frequently visit, the links from our website will be indexed quickly. Do not build backlinks from websites that are not taken care of and see page archive, when last updated ? if a year ago, our backlink will be very long indexed

I started a site 3 days ago & already have 2 indexed Backlinks from high PR sites.. Both forums though, they seem to get indexed the quickest :)
But it's not how quickly they get there it's the quality dude.. Doesn't matter if your blog gets 1,000 Pageviews today when you could be having 20,000 tommorow ;)

usually my backlinks take 1-2 weeks to get indexed and that depends on the type of backlinks as well. Some takes 2 weeks and some get indexed in a day.
