Aged Domain, No Backlinks. Is it useful?

Hello,

I just purchased a 4 year old domain that contains my keywords. It is listed on G/Y/B directories but has no backlinks. Does This domain have any advantage over a new domain?

Thanks
Mike

Aged domains have advantage over new domains because they would already have been indexed, even if they do not have backlinks.

Using aged domains also avoids the Google sandbox :)

Definitely old domain has its own advantage since it is already indexed in search engines like google and yahoo. But have back-link's can be more beneficial to you and your website b'coz you can generate some traffic out of them as well as you can get a good PR.
