PPC or Adsense?

Hi,
I am looking for some guidance on PPC campaigns for affiliate products vs Adsense campaigns

How do I create a website that caters for both?

For instance I am an affiliate for a product, but that industry also pays well in the PPC market, so and adsense campaign would be good too

So are there any examples of websites that you can point me to that have a combination of Affilate products and Adsense campaigns for the same type of product.

For instance a stop smoking website that has a landing page for an affiliate product and also pages that generate adsense income
