I am so frustrated with Google PPC.

I have everything right as far as I can tell and they are telling me that my keywords are not relevant, giving me a quality score of 2/10 - The site says "rarely shown due to low quality score".

Keyword relevance POOR
Landing page no problems


I am bidding about 20% higher than the suggested bid for first page.

This is not my exact ad, but this will give you the jist of what I am doing - (it is a health-related niche), I'm just going to use this for an example.

"bad acne"

I also have another ad almost identical to this one. I do not get how they say that my keyword relevance is poor.


I have another keyword:

cure for bad acne.

This keyword is showing and says eligible. when I click on their explanation, it says score 3 / 10

I just don't get it. How the heck am I supposed to make more relevant keywords than "bad acne"?

What am I missing?

Hey Stacie,

There could be a number of factors at play here, for instance, how many pages do you have on your website? Do you include the words 'cure bad acne' in your landing page? etc.
