I create multiple ad's within one ad group in pairs (for split testing, same title different description) based on keyword impressions. Is this good or bad, how does it affect ad quality in Google? How many keywords in one ad group is enough or not enough? Nobody seems to explain this plainly or I'm missing something probably the latter.

hey griff, split testing ads is great because it lets you know which ads are converting well and which aren't. This will boost your overall CTR and lower your CPC.

As for keywords in an ad group, it depends on how related they are. You want to get your ad groups as closely related as possible.
