Invalid Destination URL Error In Adwords

I am trying to create my first Adwords campaign but I continue to have my ads disapproved due to an invalid destination URL.

I verified that the destination URL works in several different browsers as well as it working on multiple computers. Has anyone else experienced this issue and was able to fix it?

By the way the destination URL I am trying to use is http://www.thehookupguide.com/s/how-to-flirt-guide/

Hi Ryan,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty with getting your destination page approved. The reason you're being rejected is your destination or landing page is a squeeze page. I suggest you include links to the other articles on your site too.

You may refer to the following guide on destination pages for Adwords:
Understanding landing page experience

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Thank you for the advice. I added some footer columns that link back to some of my recent posts and the archives. I resubmitted the ad for approval and received the same error.

[Destination URL] Invalid HTTP Response Code: To ensure a good user experience, your destination URL must work properly and not return an error code beginning with a 4 or a 5 (such as a 404 error). Your destination URL or some component on that page (like Javascript) is returning a status code indicating an error.

I verified again that the URL from my last post works in multiple browsers and on multiple computers.

Any other advice is very much appreciated as the ad has already been disapproved three times now.

The URL works on my end too. The only reason I can see for your destination page to be disapproved is because it links to an page with an opt-in form. You might want to link to a page with an article on it for the product you're promoting instead then have the opt in form on the very top of the sidebar.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
