10/10 Quality Score on Adwords
Hi all,
Looking for some advice. I started a new campaign a few days ago, I am direct linking to see how it goes before thinking about having a landing page. Now two of my keywords have AdWords quality scores of 10/10. Apologies if this is a stupid question, but does that now mean that I should just leave it as is as it is doing so well?
What more can I do?
Should I get rid of ads that aren't getting high impressions and/or clicks?
Thanks in advance,
N - still very new to Adwords!

Hi Nat,
Yes if after 7 to 14 days you feel there are keywords not performing then pause them and move on.
There are soo many ways to work with adwords that unfortunately there is no black and white answer.
Regards
Troy

Thanks for your reply. Is it correct to say that if a keyword isn't getting any impressions it either means -
a) the ads you have for that keyword are not specific enough to the keyword, or
b) people just aren't searching for that keyword?
If you are getting plenty of impressions, a decent average position, but no clicks, does that mean that your ad is just not enticing enough for people to want to click on it and you need to improve the ad copy?
Thanks.

Hi Nat,
Correct on all 3 points.
It does seem strange though that you have 0 impressions.
It must not be a very good niche? either that or you have not set something up right in adwords.
Do your other ads have impressions? are you on the front page?
:)

Many of my ads have no impressions at all, yet some of them have quality scores of 7.

It could be possible your ad is not showing as google has it on hold for some reason.
Go through your account and see if all the ads are active and not paused.

I just checked again and now they all have impressions except one. I did have to replenish my account balance a couple of days ago. Perhaps they were on hold until I made a payment. I also increased my daily limit slightly.

Yes, they will not show if your account has no funds in it.
Glad you got it sorted.
