Should this page be own its own or linked to the previous?
I have a page that I am giving away a free ebook on.Should I link to it from the previous page(ala-the plan) or leave it as a stand alone? Currently I am leaving it all by itself although it is on the nav menu.I had it on a "pop-over slide" but I was not sure if it was not turning people off that way,so I moved it to its own page.

good qustion.....
I would put yourself in the customer's shoes when they visit your HOME page.
When they visit your home page, would it make sense to them to see a link going to that? Does it make logical sense and feel right for the overall website?
If not, then i say don't link the site and just leave it as a stand-alone landing page.
i kinda have the same question for some of my landing pages and i've decided i'm not going to have a bunch of links FROM my HOME page going to a bunch of keyword specific landing pages. It would just be repetitive content for the site.
