Newbie Looking for Advice - fear of flying niche
I am probobly one of the oldest here. I am going to start my first web site and promote my own product. I am a retired airline captain and want to go after the afraid of flying crowd. There are a few sites up there but I can do better. Offering weekly newsletter of emails to calm people's fears, promoting self help books and hypnosis books and blogging occassionally and maybe starting a forum any other ideas to make this go. I figured I'd start here since I did this for thirty years in the military and commercial.
Looking for some honest straight forward ideas from someone with experience.
Thanks a lot
Jeff

Hi Jeff
This is an excellent idea on creating your own site on a subject you are passionate about!
Even though I am not a very well experienced Internet Marketer as yet I can give you some advice that I found myself being very un-biased, helpful and free help.

Hi I am about to retire in the next year and I have built three web sites. I have just learned to use Wordpress site manager and Hostgator hosting. For the right reason, easy to learn, cheap lots of free advice in their forum and free learning videos. I am just learning how to make my own templates now. If you can fly this must be easy.

Hi Jeff,
What I'd recommend is start promoting a site first (like in the Jet Lag niche for example) with what you learn at Affilorama.
Once you get a good grasp of marketing, just launch your own website.
