Bookmarking Demon or Social Submitter??

Hey guys,

Was checking out some social bookmarking software and found these two.

Do you guys use any of these?

If I were to purchase do you recommend any in particular or even maybe a diferent one which is better than these?

Thanks everyone, keep rocking...

Don't see any links I'm afraid.

While there are some great tools for social bookmarking submission, many of the best ones are actually free. Many of the paid ones that promise 'top-of-digg' rankings are simply scams or spam machines.

I've use these tools in the past: (both free!)

http://www.97thfloor.com/social-media-for-firefox/ (firefox plugin)

Post the names or links to the products and I'll take a look though :)

Personally I think you'd be better off with a slightly more manual system like http://www.socialmarker.com/

The problem with those systems is for starters they like to talk about the hundreds of social bookmarking services they'll submit to... but most of them are very specialized and wont actually bring you much traffic anyway.

Also, I'd be weary of any system that relies on making lots of fake random accounts on any membership site - it only ends up creating more spam and making the services less useful.

You're best idea is to write good content, post it on once... maybe get a few friends to vote for it and start building up a presence the good old fashioned way - time and hard work. That's far more sustainable and will bring much better quality traffic in the long term.

Hope that helps.
