Hello, everyone. I have had the articles for our site written using the keyword in the header, in the first 50 words, and another 5 times throughout the 500 word text as Mark suggested. Now I am going to have 10 more articles written so that I can spin them and submit them to article directories, and I am wondering if the same rules should apply (as far as where and how often to include the keyword).

yes, every article, whether for your site, or for linking, needs to be keyword optimized the same. good luck.

keyword should be up to 4% of the content, some directories accept only 2%.
