I have a keyword phrase which I am leaning towards in the pretty 'hard to crack into' work from home genre.
When put in quotes the phrase has 50,600 results and has had 996 searches on the keywords comprising it. However the keywords are in a different order, eg phrase I searched on was "profitable home based businesses" and the 996 search results under that term show "based business home profitable". Does that make a difference as far as the search engines are concerned?
If it makes no difference the R/S ratio is pretty respectable, ie 50.8. But if I'm barking up the wrong tree then maybe things don't look so rosy. Furthermore there are also sponsored ads on Page 1 for individual keywords/phrases within that search term.
PS: and ... I'd also like to say how grateful I am that there is such a 'giving' team here on Affilorama. Some of the posts and responses are very detailed and explicit. Full marks, guys!
Thanks
Dale

Doesn't matter at all.
Whether you are going for "dumb duck quack on pond all day long" or "long pond all duck quack dumb day"... you would rank respectively close for both.

Sounds like you're getting there :)
Have you got a link building plan? Or is that something you still need to work out?

You've made my day. I guess I'm a bit old fashioned but I wanted to make sure that I was angling right with the keywords first.
OK - now I'll start on the link building plan. I'll keep you posted.
Cheers
