Hello All,

First I want to say that I'm really impressed by people here on afflorama and the affilorama website.
After months of searching trough the digital noise created by tons of fake AM Gurus and etc. I have finally found a website and community with real substance.

Second I have watched most of the free videos and I already feel confident enought to try out the AM.

I have a few ideas that personally interest me, like small dogs, yorkie and etc.
I have started some researh based on what I have read on forum and seen in videos, but i still havent found the definitive guide to market research.
For example, i have done some basic reasearch on keywords via google, also i have done some competition research (basic), but Im not sure how to check if there is any / enough money in my niche.
I would really hate spending 6 or more months developing just to find out that there is no money or not enouh money in my niche.

Hi Vladimir.kopric,

Have you looked at the gravity of the products within the niche you're looking at? You can tell if there is "money" in the niche if products within it are converting well.

Don't get too caught up trying to find out if a niche is lucrative or not. That is only secondary. What you should look for is a niche you have knowledge on or are interested in. This will make it easier for you to come out with content for your site. Having a natural interest in your chosen niche also helps motivate you to keep working on your site.

I totally agree that That is the easiest way to do it.

But, I have not yet signed up for any affiliate networks or programs, since I saw that first I need to have a working website for them to review and that they generate af links according to domain name.
Especially since Im not a US resident.
Is there any truth to this ?

Try out Clickbank. They generate your affiliate links based on the username you sign up with. It has been a few years since I first signed up with them, but I don't think having a domain name was required to sign up.

When I signed up for Clickbank about 6 months ago, having a domain name wasn't a requirement. You don't have to have a website to promote your affiliate products. You can place your affiliate links in other places besides a website, such as: in emails, on blogs, twitter and many other places.
