Is Internet Marketing Going To Be Too Competetive Soon?
I am new to this and very exited just to make a half decent living from this arena of internet marketing, but I can't help but think with all the buzz and exitement of so many people getting invloved and with auto programs evolving all the time, is there going to come a time when all the niches are too competetive for one another and only the top guys are making it? I understand there it's a big internet out there but I still can't help thinking it will explode and oversaturate the market. Can someone with more foresight shed some light on this bit of darkness I have hanging over me?

The weight loss niche isn't over saturated yet, so I doubt there's much danger of any of the other one's getting over saturated any time soon.
I mean there's pretty much zero chance you'll rank in Google for "weight loss" but what about "how to get a bikini body"? That is much more likely. You just need to be a little creative if you're going into a big niche.

Internet marketing is always going to be as competitive as it can be and its an upward slope. However, the good thing is that people are always entering and exiting niches. What this means for you is that you can start now and still win over a niche. As cterao said, you might not rank for weight loss immediately (not alone in any case, with a team and resources - definitely Yes), but you can rank for other smaller terms. Also the good thing on internet is that you can get traffic using different methods and SEO is just one of them.

Thanks guys, but I'm talking about micro niches. As much as there millions of them available, probably more, will there come a time when the technology of evolving programs such as one being able to put up thousands of websites in a short time and seo software etc, keyword finders, niche finders etc will saturate even the micro niches?

no, because with demographic marketing, and more new people coming online every day, there are more people looking for information than people giving it. you will continually find more and more combinations of keywords that were never searched before, and more people willing to pay for information when they search.
worry about market saturation is from a limited mindset. you don't want the whole pie, just a piece of it. with some of these niches, just a small piece will give you a huge income for a long time.

Awesome, that's what I had hoped. Just a small piece of pie to keep me from a dreary day job.
Thanks, Jim :-)

Just to take an offline example...
Clothing stores have been around for centuries. And yet more are opening all the time. Since they've been doing this for so long, has technology gotten to the point where everyone who wants it has a new shirt to wear all the time? Obviously, the answer is no... And there are many other factors besides just how much the shirt costs.
Is it competitive? Yes. Is it too competitive? Again, no, because you can always find instances of someone doing something "new" that hasn't been done in quite the same way in the same place before.
So grab your piece of pie ;)

Hello
Just open your mind to all the posibilities. The growth is there and only limited by what our minds tell us. Sit back, relax, meditate, and allow total relaxation drive your open direction in your next marketing session and venture. It will all come to you.
