Hi,

My name is August, and I am a startup founder and a web developer. I am working on a new startup, and am really interested in connecting with experienced affiliate marketers who can give me feedback about how the track their various affiliate programs.

I'm not here to compete with anyone as an affiliate or sell anything. I hope that my new startup's product will be very useful to affiliates who earn commision through a variety of affiliate networks.

If any of you can tell me what you currently do to track your affiliate programs' earnings I would be very grateful for any insight you could provide.

There are many affiliate tracking soft-ware programmes on the market today. I cannot recall the name of one at the moment , but I have made a note of your email and when I have moment i will email some names to you.

Prosper202 uses a module called Tracking202. It allows you to track all kinds of things up to and including different affiliate programs and campaigns, conversions to keyword level, and landing pages. It's pretty comprehensive and it's completely free. Once you set it up, you'll be able to see exactly where your visitors are going, and where in the process you lose them, or earn their business.

It's a great program but does have a little learning curve to it. I really recommend watching the 5 training videos it comes with. They're brief and greatly simplify the process.
