Yahoo Turns Over Search Engine Keys To Microsoft

I think a deal similar to this fell apart last year but Yahoo and Microsoft ink a 10yr deal. It should be interesting to see what Google's next move will be if any. In return for turning over the keys to its search engine to Bing and promoting it, Yahoo will get to keep 88% of the revenue from all ads that run alongside search requests on its site for the first five years of the deal.

it will be interesting to see how this affects the seo landscape, up til now we've always been focused on the big G but with ms & yahoo joining forces they need to be on everyones radar. theres a good seomoz article about the seo repercussions *broken link*
