I have my site up and I added a few blog posts. What next?
Now that my blog is up in my niche and I have around 30 articles that I spread out during april and may (it started on 1st may) what would you say are the next 5 things I should focus on to sell as an affiliate.
I am so used to blogging to attract people to me/my business that I am having to think differently to be a purely affiliate marketing.
I haven't included my face or anything about me on this site as I wanted to build it as a site like mark's dog training site - I noticed nothing about him on there.
So... the next 5 things I should do and/or the next 5 places in the training area I should focus on.
Appreciate thoughts/suggestions/directions
thanks
Diane

Authority blogging takes a definite mindset! Do you have the mindset of a blogger?

Diane,
Have an SEO Plan. Here is a sample SEO plan that I read somewhere:
Day 1
Write 2 forum posts (include http://www.yoursite.com in the signature)
Write 2 blog posts (at least 300 words and should have "Anchor texts" of "your keywords" pointing to http://www.yoursite.com)
Day 2
Answer 3 questions (in your niche) in "Yahoo! Answers" without posting any links.
Day 3
Write 2 forum posts (include http://www.yoursite.com in the signature)
Write 2 blog posts (at least 300 words and should have "Anchor texts" of "your keywords" pointing to http://www.yousite.com/product#1.html)
Day 4
Write 1 Squidoo Lens (at least 300 words and should have "Anchor texts" of "your keywords" pointing to http://www.yoursite.com)
Day 5
Write 2 forum posts (include http://www.yoursite.com in the signature)
Write 2 blog posts (at least 300 words and should have "Anchor texts" of "your keywords" pointing to http://www.yoursite.com/product#2.html)
Day 6
Write 1 Squidoo Lens (at least 300 words and should have "Anchor texts" of "your keywords" pointing to http://www.yoursite.com/product#3.html)
Day 7
Write 2 forum posts (include http://www.yoursite.com in the signature)
Write 2 blog posts (at least 300 words and should have "Anchor texts" of "your keywords" pointing to http://www.yoursite.com/product#4.html)
You can do this kind of schedule for about 3 weeks and then do a maintenance on a monthly schedule.
This is just my opinion. Good luck!

That is just what I needed. A plan. Thank you.
I can see it isn't any different to blogging really, the main thing I need to do is sign up to forums about my niche which I am not in right now.
Appreciate your help

The other thing you may like to add to the mix is ongoing SEO - keep up with tweaking your sites content for keyword optimization.
You can keep track of your keyword ranking using Traffic Travis and also do page analysis to figure out what bits of your web pages need improving to help with getting you higher in the search results.
