Ezine Articles Not Accepting Links Promoting AJ

Hi guys

Just had two articles turned down by EzineArticles.... This is the reason.....

"
Your article titled "Your Home Internet Marketing Business -
Essential Tips For Success" is unable to be accepted due to content
on your link.

We do not accept content relating to AffilioJetPack or any similar
programs. Please remove all such content prior to resubmitting your
article for review.

Thank you,
Ben

"

This was the second article in a row that they have rejected, the first was promoting AB and I can only assume that they turned it down for the same reason. They have accepted them before, so any ideas as to why not now?

(I have asked them but thought someone here might know.....)

Hmmm, Not sure about that one.
Was the article all original?
Also, maybe the folks over at EZA do not like the jetpack stuff due to it being something you can spin and as you know EZA hate spun content... so maybe they are being cautious.
Maybe the staff can shed some more light on it.

Regards
Troy

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize
they were the big things.

Hey Troy,

Yup definitely original content - I always submit to them first and wait for approval before submitting anywhere else :o)

At first I thought that maybe it was AJ that was the problem because of the spun content, but my first article was turned down because it was linking to an AB review.

Funny thing was that 2 days earlier they had accepted 3 articles going to the same AB review site.... makes me think that a change in policy may be in the wind.

Will wait for their reply and let you know....

I recently wrote a unique article about how modern science has come to better understand the causes of Male Pattern Baldness. I tried to post the article on Ezine for the sole purpose of creating a backlink to a hair-regrowth product website that I was trying to push to the first page of Google. It was stated that my article was denied posting by Ezine for two reasons. First, I had an affiliate link embedded in the article's text directly linking readers to the actual product's sales page. They said they don't allow affiliate links, and second, they said I was promoting an affiliate product with the article content which they also don't allow. Since my main objective here was creating the backlink, I simply removed my affiliate link from the text and removed all mention of the product and went ahead and posted the article to be only about Male Pattern Baldness. This they accepted and I had a backlink to my site. I am a newbie so I'll just leave it to you all to make sense of my recent experience with Ezine. It seems to me though that they don't want any affiliate product promotion in their posted articles. Again, I'm a newbie and to tell the truth I haven't gotten around to even reading their terms of usage yet.

Yeah, you should get round to reading them because while they do allow articles from affiliates they are quite strict about what is allowed.

They do not accept affiliate links, these are the ones that go straight to the merchants sales page. The only way that you can link straight to the sales page is by buying a domain name that redirects to the page. If you want to actively promote a product, do it through the reviews section.

Most times EZA are OK to deal with, but remember that their first priority is a quality experience for the reader. Don't try and sell in the article body, save that for the resource box.

From time to time, ezinearticles.com does impose restrictions, specially when they deem that certain terms or topics are open to spam and/or abuse. The same thing is true with squidoo. That's why it can be hard, or even impossible, to get articles on such topics as weight loss or articles that contain certain terms (like hoodia, for example) or the names of certain products, approved for publication.

EZA clearly states in their tos that they do not like or support any type of PLR products. they dont allow linking to, mentioning, or using plr content including programs like Affilojetpack. they also dont like anything related to article spinning, or repurposing content. If you are targeting these topics, you will have to look elsewhere for your link building.

They really don't allow any affiliate links. The last time I submitted articles with my link on it, I received the same message.

Yup, apparently that is why the article was turned down, seems funny that they didn't close that door back in July when AJ was first launched, oh well, it's closed now (lucky I got my AJ review in first! :o)

@careybird, no, they won't accept affiliate links, only top level redirects.

Ezine is really strict when it comes to content especially when it is about affiliates or any PLR. Use other keyword that won't be to obvious as an affiliate link.

Content is king. I got rated Platinum within no time simply because I was trying to post as many articles into EZA.
In the bargain, I got some valuable links.
Basically, two links can be included in the resource box, which is quite useful.

@chris72:
I use ezine articles to build backlinks, not to promote or talk about products. I let my website do the promoting - but only a little bit of promotion after I've given my visitors quality information. I submit only informative content to ezine articles, then include a link to my site using anchor text (below the fold.) It has worked so far.
