Affilorama Premium Membership- Now Includes Hosting!
Premium Hosting is now available for all current Premium members and adds to the existing benefits, which include full access to all the Affilorama Tools, iPod or iPhone video downloads, the monthly Premium magazine and site reviews by our trained staff.
No doubt you have a few questions so I'll try to answer them here. If I haven't covered your question here, feel free to email us through our support page or post a comment below.
Who can access Premium Hosting?
All current Affilorama Premium members. If you are not currently a member, visit http://www.affilorama.com/premium to sign up.
What is included with Premium Hosting?
The hosting service is a fully-featured hosting package with all the features you'd expect in a top of the line web host.
You can register up to 15 separate domains and for each domain you get:
- Disk space: 2GB
- Monthly traffic bandwidth: 75GB
- Subdomains: 10 e.g. forums.example.com, members.example.com
- Email Addresses: 10 plus a catch-all option so you can use any email address for that domain
- MySQL Databases: 10
- FTP Accounts: 10
Other features include:
- Choose support for PHP4 or PHP5
- Up to 10 different automated replies for your email addresses
- Up to 3 scheduled tasks
- Easily create redirects to hide affiliate links
- Over 500 website templates to choose from
- Software valued at over $500 including password managers, JavaScript tools for your site and JavaScript compression for faster site loading
- Thousands of stock imagery, clipart, banners, logos and web art you can use
- One-click installation for popular programs like WordPress
- FrontPage Extensions Support
- Plus more
Why would I choose this hosting service?
Apart from all the features, there are a couple of things that really make this a standout service.
Super easy to setup – Hosting has never been this easy. Simply enter your domain name and click Activate. Then update your domain name register to point to our nameservers and you're done! You'll receive an email with all the necessary information and you're good to go.
Part of the great Premium membership package – It's all part of a valuable suite of productivity tools designed specifically for affiliate marketers. If you're serious about making your online business succeed, you'll find this a great investment.
What do I need to do to transfer my existing website?
It isn't difficult to switch from your existing host. Firstly you'll need to sign up with Affilorama Premium and activate your hosting account.
- 1 - Access your existing website and backup to your local drive (there is usually an option in your cPanel to do this)
- 2 - Using the FTP details emailed to you when you activated your Premium Hosting account, upload your website
- 3 - Update the DNS settings (e.g. at GoDaddy or Namecheap) to point your domain name to the new nameservers emailed to you
- 4 - Allow up to 24 hours (usually much quicker) for the change to take effect
- 5 - When your site is operational on the new host you can then cancel your old hosting account (and save $$)
If for some reason you want to cancel your membership, your hosting account will also be canceled. However you will still be able to download your website files for a limited time afterwards. Of course, it is recommended practice for any website that you have a regular backup procedure in place.
How do I sign up for Premium Hosting?
Existing Premium members: Visit http://www.affilorama.com/premium/hosting. Read the terms and conditions and activate your domain(s).
Not a Premium member yet? - Visit http://www.affilorama.com/premium and sign-up today!

Free website hosting for premium members is awsome.
I have a funny feeling the premium membership is going to get a lot better over the next few weeks.

Will I automatically get Premium 2010?
...Also, the video here says that PLR articles are available every month: http://www.affilorama.com/premium-live
Where can I gain access to these?
Thanks!

I'm new (very) and was wondering if the decision to host with the Premium-included-hosting or hosting for my own account with (what I just learned) e.g. Hostgator will make a difference in search results in google etc.? Could the hosting affect in any way search results or am I looking for trouble where there is none?
Just wondering as I guess it's an important decision from the start where to host all the stuff and free is always attractive ;-)
Many thanks, best regards.

Where you host your website does not affect your site's ranking at all. It will be the quality of the content on your site that will determine your site's rank to a large extent.

Just registered *another* domain name a few days ago and thought I'd give the new premium hosting a try.
Added the site, changed nameservers, etc., but when I try to install Wordpress within the root directory via Affilorama hosting it says the following:
"There was a problem installing the requested script. Please make sure that the directory you are installing to is empty."
I've not added any files whatsoever - like I said, brand new domain nothing on it yet.
Any ideas?

Currently my squeeze page, GardenMagicinyourbackyard.com, is being developed (by me) on Homestead's SiteBuilder. Once finished, will I be easily able to download it to your new sites?

I must be blind. I can't see where the PLR articles are (when logged in). Could you add a screenshot Simon? Thanks!

When you log in to your account, click on PREMIUM
then you will see the Magazines, should be 8 issues for the past 8 mths.
Then, under the Magazine issues you will se a link called "Monthly PLR articles"
If you do not see this, let me know.

Hi Smartguy,
Affilorama hosting is the same as any other hosting.
If you want to export the homestead template then you will need to ask the homestead support guys how to do it.
They have a forum and you could ask there if it is possible to export your site from homestead into your own hosting.

For anyone else who is interested...
The reason for the issue was that there was a default index.html file in the root directory. After removing that file (via FTP), wordpress installed correctly.
However when using the link via Affilorama hosting to enter the wp-admin area and set up wordpress, the link added an extra slash to the end of the domain name which made it appear as though it were broken.
To fix that, enter your domain name in the address bar, and then head directly to wp-admin (if you installed Wordpress in your root directory). EG: www.SomeSite.com/wp-admin/
You can then follow along with the directions and it will finish installation of wordpress on your domain.

I'm new to affilorama and am really looking forward to taking full advantage of all the cool stuff. I especially like the free hosting and to be honest, it was the icing that made me buy the cake.
I am wondering though, if their is some kind of allowance if for some reason ones site exceeds the allocated bandwidth. For example, say a site goes through the roof and the traffic is for-nominal (wishful thinking), can we purchase more bandwidth and if so, at what cost?
This scenario might well be highly unlikely, but I'm just a newbie with possibly unrealistic expectations. Thought I'd ask anyway.
Cheers everyone!
Kev.

Hi Troy,
I can only see 3 issues of the Magazines, not 8. Should I go somewhere else to see the rest?
Thank you,
