I am new to all this too, I started with AB end of august 2010 and everything seems current to me. Follow the steps and try not to get to far ahead of yourself and remember 80% doing, 20% learning. AB does work but it does take some work also, keep that in mind. Good Luck

So Michelle, I downloaded all the lessons when I did AB last year and I think I downloaded a few that were said to be revisions-and they are all sitting on my computer. If I decide to create anotehr AB site this year will the files on my computer be OK or do I have to go back to your AFFilorama AB website to re-download Lessons 1-12?

Since we can't really be sure from our end which versions of the videos you downloaded to your computer, it would be best to re-download so that you will have the latest versions.

Thanks

Just remember that these Google Panda (Farmer) changes are very fresh - the rest of the world is only just getting the change - and nobody knows quite what to do as far as where to send their individual content to now.
Submitting through the AMA's and SLV's are probably your best bet until things settle down and new 'leaders' emerge

My ultimate goal is to gain some passive income. Is building websites and doing affiliate marketing the way to do it?
Thank you

Now, chances probably aren't good that you'll end up ranking for a keyword like "weight loss" but you can probably rank for something like "low carb diet for weight loss" or "fat burning exercises for weight loss." You just need to find your own unique angle on it.
I made websites that I haven't really touched for about a year that still keep bringing in money, so they definitely can give you passive income.
I hope this helps :)
I did AffiloBlueprint for one year - http://www.journeyofmyown.com/welcome-affilorama-friends/
I made a product. Currently converting at 15.6% via webinar and paying $100 commissions - http://www.affilorama.com/forum/affiliate-programs-f30/affilorama-member-creates-own-product-15-conv-100-com-t13326.html

I'm sorry but we don't have a sample lesson for Affiloblueprint. But I can assure you that newbies can successfully follow the program.
I suggest that you buy Affiloblueprint and see for yourself whether it is something you think you would need or like to have. If not, you can request for a refund. We have a 60-day money back guarantee. :)
All the best!

Welcome to Affilorama! :)
I'm sorry, we have not updated the PPC section of the Affiloblueprint course yet. We *are* in the process of updating the lessons and will let you know when these are available. While the PPC section needs updating, it still provides a good background on how PPC works.
I appreciate your patience. Have a good weekend!

Yes, I agree. It's true that some parts of it definitely need updating like the PPC and SEO sections. But nothing has changed when it comes to building your website, adding content, choosing your niche, etc so these lessons in Affiloblueprint are still current.
Have a good day!

I would expect that the new course will introduce people to using tools such as SEO Quake and Google Advanced Search as ways to find high quality links.
Another thing that the new course will need is a set of strategies for getting Facebook Likes, Tweets and Google pluses etc.
Finally, I hope the new course is focused on Wordpress rather than XSite Pro this time. I think most people will choose to go the Wordpress route and it therefore makes sense teach the course using this platform.
